Beyond my work as a therapist, I am passionate about being a part of helping to curate solutions to help women, couples, and families live well and thrive even when life throws it’s many curve balls our way. Recently, I joined forces with Fairshare- a startup looking to help every day couples better share the load of housework! Why? Because, I know you won’t be surprised to hear it is, but household chores are one of the most common topics that couples argue about, and the uneven load of responsibility can cause resentment + lead to relationships problems.
On that note…
I wanted to personally invite you to try out the program, it’s simple, and time efficient.
Fairshare Pilot Program:
Fairshare helps couples find practical ways to share chores. Our first two pilot programs proved very popular, and effectively helped couples rebalance housework and reduce mental load (see testimonials here:

We are excited to be launching our third pilot in the coming weeks.

In other (horrific) news….
A juxtaposition. We were lucky enough to be sitting on a beach in Hawaii watching our kids play in the sand enjoying their spring break when I got a message from a TV producer. I hadn’t really been around my phone other than to take pictures, so I hadn’t heard news about the school shooting in Nashville yet. The message was a request to share my tips on how to talk to kids about yet another school shooting. Sadly, all I had to do was go back into my notes to remember the tips I shared when this happened (just months ago) in Uvalde. I added one “tip” this time and it was to freaking TAKE ACTION! Taking action is our responsibility as adults….the best way we can advocate for our kids safety. I literally cannot imagine the gut wrenching terror, the fall to your knees grief of loosing a child. Get educated on the science, get loud, get angry, change laws by following and joining efforts. My favorite advocacy group for gun sense is Moms Demand Action.
